    Happy Holidays to everyone

Hope everyone has a good holiday week.

I'm hoping to get some skiing time in.

Ya they blew it in the last couple minutes. Lot's of cranky people around here! I don't let it affect me as much as some others do.

Anyone have a project they are working on over the holidays?

Have to finish the crown modling in the dining room and kitxhen. Boy I hate that stuff, but that is what the wife wanted.

I did a bunch of crown this summer. I bought a bosch digital angle finder to figure out the exact angles of each corner. Also bought a Colins coping foot for my jig saw, really made coping easy once I got the hang of it. I also made a jig for holding the crown molding on my miter saw. After I got everything figured out it went pretty fast with the right tools, I like when I get an excuse to buy new tools to help out with the jobs!

I use the old way "trial and error". No just kidding, I do not have too much problems with it, just on the ones that are not 35deg cuts or smaller. I also always get a shorter piece of the moulding I'm useing so I can make trial cutsgood ones.before I cut the good ones. I have been told by the better half that I do not need anymore tools for a while. I'm a tool junkie, if I see it and do not have it I get it.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. I spent the week before Christmas moving to Texas.
