Welding Fixtures - Let's see 'em!

Any of you ever make any jigs or fixtures for welding multiples?

I am finalizing one now. It's elaborate - that's how I roll. I will post it up when I get my act together with my connection at home.

Let's see what yins got! (how ya like that lingo, Cebby?)

Love the lingo, except it's "yinz" - As in "Yinz goin' dahntahn 'n at?" translation: Are you going downtown? Thank god I'm a transplant from Michigan and can turn the lingo on and off at will...

Tex sounds good. Actually, I am thinking about Arizona or New Mexico. Maybe southern Utah or even better - southern Colorado.

I have two production welding fixtures, no parts at the moment but I will get pics of the fixtures.

I do short runs of production part for the company that I work for during the day. Doing this welding paid for my Miller 251, 2 gas bottles, Jackson EQC Helmet all in about 5 Months
Here are the two fixtures that I use:
This first one is the one that i started out doing, It makes a part for a very large window company, I cannot show the fixture in action(sorry Cebby) There are Ball detents that locate a large angle plate, and then a small fin is held in the clamp. when the weld is done I push one valve to open the clamp and then the other valve to eject the part. It not my whole design, the die designer at the company that I work for designed it, than I made it more user friendly (I added the air cylinders).

This on came up after I had been doing the other one for a while, Smaller main piece part and a fin welded to it, Unfortunely no positive positioning of the base part so it it a little slower.

    Thanks for Looking,

    Jason

Welcome Atlas - what do you make with those? Love to see them in action... (FYI - I'm a huge pneumatics lover )

Did you ever get your act together Scott?

I think hell might freeze over before I ever get my chit together...
