    Well then Welcome Home Brother. I served a total of 26 years combined Navy abd Coast Guard. retired in 91 and still mis it sometimes.

    I get about 2 months out of a pair of mechanix gloves, but I'm very rough on them. I use them for everything. I recently bought a pair of Steiner "Gripper" glaves at my LWS for $7. They are just like the mechanix gloves but they have a little bit of leather in the palms. So far they seem to be holding up much better than the regular mechanix gloves that I was using and the price is right.
