    Work Bench/shelf & Small Fab Table

    Ok here are some pic's of the work bench im building for a good buddy of mine...

    60"w x 30"d x 40"h with a 8"h back stop, and two 25"w x 27"d x 14"h shelfs...
    1.5"x.125" square tube, .125" steel plate

    That's a neat idea with the small table - I never seem to have enough worksurface. Lookin' good!

    What kind of building is that you are working in? I haven't seen that type of corrogated side wall before. Looks like they open??

    That is a 4 car Open Car port/garage,, the corrogated side walls are aluminum accordian storm shutters, my buddie has them on each opening and each whindow...Living on a island paradise, we get some killer typhoons, and if you dont have shutters to protect your house then your are asking for some serious damage....

    What are you using to cut the tubing?

    Are you putting the small table on wheels? If so, what type did you have in mind?

    We are planning on putting the small table on locking castors, havent figured out which one we are going to go with..We plan on going to look for some at lunch today...

    I did some digging around and relized we have a old rusted out engin hoist sitting in my yard, so im going to recycle the castor off of that for the small table...They are 3" steel castors two locking and two no locking....
