Re: WOW - it's been quiet in here.......

Well - I woke up Saturday AM to go riding and I just had this funny feeling about the day. NO - it wasn't gas this time.

I drove to the shop, hooked up. loaded up - the whole time I had this odd feeling. I've had this same thing before a time or two at a race and usually will not to race if I feel distracted. So - did not go riding this past weekend. It's too risky. The last time I did ride distracted I really did not enjoy myself and there are too many things that demand attention when on the bike, so I just decided to stay and work at the shop.

The Hampton Arenacross is this weekend - still wondering if I am going to run or not. I have missed it the last three years so I may sit this year out, too. I can not afford to get injured and those things can be a zoo - very, very tight racing and you have to be very aggressive to do well. The Arenacrosses are a blst but the track can be tough and there is no room for error. PLUS - with all the 4-strokes, the noise can get rediculous. I think I will pass this year.

I am planning to go to Atlanta next month for the AMA Supercross - take the bikes and run Hazelhurst and Hillbilly Hills. A four day adventure with three days of riding. A bunch of us are going - this will be my 6th or 7th year straight. Always look forward to it. Hopefully we have decent weather this year - last year was a little damp.

Anyway - back to work (yeah...whatever).

    Later!
