Never noticed all that high a gay cowboy count here although the gay cowgirl count is on the high side. Friend's wife was the only straight girl on her softball team.

The pain, such as it is, comes from listening to the same tired jokes from people from other states. While it does show my intolerance and bigotry, I've never come to terms with public homosexuality. To me it is still deviant behavior. Seems like the general population is much more liberal in their attitudes. I suppose with a bit of counciling I could change. Maybe next year the pedaphiles can start campaigning for acceptance...it IS a lifestyle choice after all.

Those look great! Nice execution. One question - did you put levelers under the legs on the racks?

OK, two questions - what the hell is that piece of wood doing in there? It's neither steel, nor is it blue...

Sorry - missed this question....I was distracted by all the flying debris about the lack of paint!!

Yeah - each corner of the base has a jacking screw. The floor in this shop SUCKS for flatness. I planned to allow 3/4" of adjustment - more than enough, right? I used all of it! Geesh - I figured the floor would be a little closer than that over just 24'....

    Re: Material Rack

Here ya go - I don't have many pics of the material rack construction but these two show the foot structure with 1/2-13 nuts welded underneath for leveling screws.

The legs create a triangle, obviously. The center leg is 36" and the back width is 32". The verical columns are 96" when welded to these frames and angle back at about 1.5 degrees. The tubing is 2"X3"X1/8" and 2"X2"X1/8".

Oh - in the background you can see my old saw table.

Dude, I wish I lived closer. I'd quit my job and come work for you. The attention to detail is what will ensure you will be successful no matter what you tackle. It also means I'm gonna have a bitchin tail section on my RZ!
