Re: IS this a good deal???

Depends a lot on the condition of the tank and the pump. Champion is a good quality brand. If the compressor is "very" used as you say, I would be a bit more leery of the deal. Check as best you can...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

    TJS,
Is that long thin top plate going to be a structural part of the bender? The only reason I ask is it appears to be a bit light for hydraulic operation. If it is there for non-structural reasons...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

    TJS,
Your bender will be much more purpose built when you're finished. Cleaner and much better built. Mine was driven be necessity after having had heart surgery and needing to convert my Hossfeld...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

    Cebby,
Take a look on the second and third shot I posted. On the second photo the bender frame for angle iron to bend flange in is on top and the dies for the different radii are on the horz....

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

Round dies will probably come last...just don't do the sort of work that needs them. The 1" square die set gets me by on most small set-ups. The angle iron dies...easy way and hard way...give me the...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

    Willy V,
Thanks...I think. Darned bender can suck the life out of your checkbook trying to keep it fed. I only have a single 1" square tube die set, but would like more and some round tube dies as...

    Re: electrical oops

Metal or plastic? If its plastic, grab the air hose, spray it off, clean the joint with the appropriate cleaner, use the appropriate cement and slap 'er back together. IF it is plastic, the cement...

Another shot of the footpedal set-up. the large nut(s) welded to the base and the hole on the upper corner of the upright plate are for hanging the footpedal on the side of the cart for transporting...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

Okay, here are a few shots of the Hossfeld bender. I just pulled scrap steel from the racks when I was building the cart and parts of the hyd. set-up...so dimensions of the stock weren't always...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

    Cebby,
I'll take the camera down to the shop later today. Don't give me a hard time on the looks as it was a quick and very dirty build so I could get the Hossfled up and running in hydraulic...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

    TJS,
I would seriously think about modifying your control valve for foot peddle operation. So much of the bending work involves using both your hands to insure that the pipe/tube/whatever stays in...

Re: Question On Cebby's Bender plans

Is there a reason you don't want the fittings on the top? A couple of 90 degree el fittings ought to get you up and running if need be. If that won't work, weld up a flange to convert back to...

    Re: Engine hoist special bracket

No welder??!! You're joking aren't you? If not, that engine puller looks like it could even be fabbed with nuts and bolts for the connections instead of welding.
