    Expletive Filter

Currently there is a filter on the forum for "bad" words. I'm willing to remove it if that's what the membership wants. Vote!!

Neutral votes will be assumed to be "ditch" the filter...

    Re: Expletive Filter

I'd like to get at least 5 votes before pulling the filter (no Scott, you can't vote 2 more times...)

I say go ahead and dump it, as long as it doesn't get stupid. If folks take it too far, you can always re-instate it.

Well - if we get objections, it will go back. But, as Camarogenius said "as long as it doesn't get stupid"...

    Re: Expletive Filter

Yeah, I say ditch it. Not that I can't handle the astericks. But, this isn't a knitting forum, we're gear heads. I don't know about the rest of you, but in my shop I use the "f word" as punctuation. It's like a comma. I wouldn't expect the type of people coming to this forum to be easily offended. And if they are, tough. They're just words. Don't get me wrong, I'm not out to offend people. But c'mon, there has to still be some places where grown ups can still talk like grown ups. Not everything can be kid friendly.

    I love you fuckers.
