WRITEUP: Mxtras Custom Cabinets, Toolboxes and Worktables

Member "Mxtras" has created some outstanding custom pieces for his shop. He has been very generous in sharing his experiences building these and has gone as far as providing plans.

I worked with Scott to put together a writeup of the projects and have included the drawing files so they can be downloaded and used by our members.

Thanks Scott for sharing all your info!

Let's hear what our members have to say!!

Here's the link to the writeup...

Those are terrible !! I'd get rid of them ASAP. I'll have a truck there in 5 minutes to get them out of your sight.

Seriously, NICE Cabinets!! I'd be afraid to use them.

Nice write-up, Cebby. Thanks for taking the time to compile everything.

I have more stuff done - I will post up some pics in the next week or so - this week is going to be a nightmare for me so I doubt I will get to it anytime soon....

If you hear of anyone looking for custom fabrications - send them my way. This is not my core business, but I have had quite a bit of interest in these cabinets and I have had numerous inquiries about building custom industrial tables and storage elements.

    Thanks again, guys!

I am in Richmond. I would love to check out your shop sometime. Perhaps if the weather stays nice, I might come down on my motorcycle

AWESOME. Now, the important question, where can you buy the ACM? I have searched and it seems like all the sites just tell you about the material. I need a site with prices and online ordering. Thanks.

Mxtras will chime in - he's the man who knows all about this material.

I am looking into getting contact info. I work for the manufacturer so it comes easy for me, but this material is usually sold by the pallet and apparently the retail channels are few. I am investigating......

The names I have for the west coast are Bestworth-Rommel. They sell to the public and I believe they are in California. I am contacting our sales department for more info......
